Well, I finally did it! I am now renting a small room in an old building (over 100 years old) for my studio. Our bedroom was getting so small and Weston needed to move from his bassinet to his crib... which means, my craft stuff had to go! So go it went... into its own room, haha!
I am so excited! I was able to paint and decorate the space the way I wanted it. No more scrunching in my elbows to do stuff... no more moving my sewing machine from one spot to another to cut things out. Everything has its own place now. Even my ironing board! I haven't used a full sized ironing board since we moved into our dinky house. I had been using a small tabletop board. I was able to work for a little under two hours on dolls today... and what a difference it makes to be able to go somewhere where there are no distractions! I now have 10 dolls in the works! That would have taken me a month to do probably... lol. I will try and get some photos of the dolls in progress as soon as I can to share with you guys.
Soooo, on to the pics! What do you think?
Hey everyone! Its another dolly update today! ^_~ Some other exciting news! I signed up for my very first craft show and I ordered business cards yesterday! Wooohoooo, now I just need to get a bazillion items made, haha. In the mean time have a look at my new doll Aria!
I have some exciting news! With our tax return the hubby and I found a small studio space for me to work on my dolls! Gahhh, I'm so over the moon! I'm going to have my own little area to work on dolls and just be creative with no distractions. Hubby is being a sweet heart and has agreed to watch the two munchkins while I go to my "job" haha. So, hopefully this year my little doll business will really take off and you will all see tons more dolls from me. I will be posting photos once I have the space all decorated and setup. ^_^
Hey everyone! I've been so inspired by the fabrics I got for Christmas that I've been sewing up a storm. I already have another doll ready to get finished... But in the mean time how about meeting the newest dolly, Darla! I loove her little buttons and bow. What do you guys think??

Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long since I've posted anything new! Being a mommy to two small children is more exhausting than I originally thought, ugh. I haven't had much time to myself, but I'm determined to get more dolls done soon. Soooo, without further delay here is Abby! I hope you like her. ^_~
